Project management CVs are screened for hard numbers before anything else: budget, team size, timeline, and whether you delivered on them. A document that describes coordination without scale is hard to shortlist.
These project manager resume templates put methodology credentials — PMP, PRINCE2, agile — where a keyword filter reaches them, and give every role room for budget, schedule, risk and benefit outcomes.

Layout, not adjectives
The right template for this field is the one that puts the evidence a project manager screen checks first in a document a parser can still read. Style is secondary.
Match the market
What belongs on the page
PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum — the exact acronym, with the year obtained. Many searches are literal.
Budget, team size, timeline, outcome. Those four do most of the screening work.
A recovered red-rated programme is often stronger evidence than a quiet success, if you describe what you controlled.
Lead with whichever of waterfall, agile or hybrid the advert names. Most organisations run a mix.
From template to file
Credentials and scale need to be visible before the chronology.
Do not bury a hard filter at the foot of page two.
Then two or three bullets on schedule, risk and benefit. Older projects compress to one line.
Currency symbols and dates should still be selectable in the PDF.
Questions
Yes. Many roles use certification as a filter before a human reads the document. List the credential and the year.
One honest line: what you controlled and what happened. "Cancelled at stage 2 after a funding review; retained to lead the wind-down" reads as senior. Omitting the year invites a worse assumption.
No. Three to five substantial projects with full context beat fifteen one-line entries. Choose the ones closest in scale and sector to the vacancy.
The structure is the same — credentials, scale, delivery. Construction and infrastructure often prefer Classic or Corporate; software delivery can use Summit Pro or Vanguard. The numbers do the work either way.
