Frontend hiring is odd: the work is visible, so the resume has to earn a click through to the portfolio rather than replace it. Bullets should read as outcomes a user can feel — faster loads, fewer defects, higher conversion — not as a catalogue of components.
These frontend developer resume templates stay parseable (one column, plain headings, real text) while leaving a header slot for the portfolio URL. The designed work lives in the portfolio; this document has to survive a parser first.
8 layouts that fit how frontend developer hiring actually reads a CV. Open a card to preview, or start in the builder — the same content reflows if you switch template later.

Layout, not adjectives
The right template for this field is the one that puts the evidence a frontend developer screen checks first in a document a parser can still read. Style is secondary.
Match the market
What belongs on the page
Name the library you actually ship in. Five sampled frameworks read as shallow; one you can defend in a live coding session does not.
"Familiar with accessibility" says nothing. "Brought checkout to WCAG 2.1 AA, verified with axe" is a claim an interviewer can test.
Hiring managers will not browse a gallery. Pick the project closest to the role and describe the hard part in one line.
Jest, Playwright, CI, design-system contribution — the parts that separate production frontend work from tutorial UI.
From template to file
Start with a single-column template from this list. Save visual taste for the portfolio.
Plain text, not a logo. If the link is not selectable, some parsers drop it.
Load time, conversion, defect rate, delivery time. Components you rendered are the method, not the result.
Open the file, confirm the stack and URL survived, then apply.
Questions
No. Multi-column posters, icon fonts and text boxes frequently blank out sections in an ATS. Use a clean layout here and let the linked work carry the visual argument.
One or two. Choose for relevance to the vacancy, not for how polished the case study looks in isolation.
It can be, if headings stay standard and the body is selectable text. The creative templates on this page follow that rule; a poster-style CV you design in another tool often does not.
List daily tools and anything the advert names. A blanket "CSS, Sass, Less, Tailwind, Bootstrap, styled-components" reads as surface familiarity.
Open a template, replace the sample history with your own, and export a PDF or Word file. No account.
